Glocom offers a broad variety of Fabric Over Foam gaskets (FOF) from differing profiles and fabrics to cater for different needs and requirements. We can offer:

Foam Types:

  • UL 94-HB recognized
  • UL 94-V0 recognised & Bromine Free
  • Halogen free (IEC 61249-2-21) UL94-V0 recognized
  • Closed Cell Polyurethane Foam UL94-HB recognized
  • Silicon Foam

Fabric Types:

  • Nickel-Copper
  • Tin-Copper
  • Silver-plated

These gaskets can be die-cut to fit the standard D-sub Connectors or any other shape required for the application.

Advantages:

  •  Ability to provide Shielding beyond 10 GHz
  • Easy to install and can withstand repeated compression.
  • Under compression, the soft foam allows the gasket to have multiple contact to maintain sufficient connectivity to optimize the shielding effectiveness.
